ANSA Bottle Unscrambling Machines are available in models designed for the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, household products, and beverage industries, and are suitable for a wide range of containers. Ansa unscramblers are particularly well suited for applications requiring a wide range of containers to be run on the same line due to the quick change over time. Only one change part means that new containers can be added to the production line without long lead times, and most importantly the unscrambler can be change over with out tools, from one size container to another in 5 minutes once the operators are familiar.

The Ansa unscramblers feature a fully guarded design, completely enclosed to reduce noise and keep containers clean. The machine arrives fully tested and can be mounted over any existing standard table- top conveyor without the need for additional side transfers etc.

The ANSA Bottle Unscrambler's design is based on a simple approach to container handling along with rapid change over and to the latest PLC technology. All container contact parts are manufactured from FDA approved materials including stainless steel and UHMW plastic. They will satisfy the needs of most demanding customers.

Options include:

· Integral bottle inverting air cleaning (with ionised air blast and vacuum dust collection),

· Compact (integrated container hopper) and standard (separate container hoppers) unscramblers with unlimited bulk storage capacity.

· Secondary orientation attachments for containers with handles, or asymmetrical shapes.

· Automatic emptying option speeds changeover.

· Recirculation option allows the unscrambler to continue operating by recirculating containers when there is not enough buffer space between the unscrambler and the first machine on the line for normal stop start operation.

OPERATION:

The ANSA bottle unscramblers will accept a random bulk supply of bottles which are typically fed to the unscrambler one or more cases at a time by the operator. Depending on the model, the bulk hopper is either integral to the unscrambler (0.6-2 cubic meters (21-75cubic feet)), or it can be a stand-alone feeder / elevator (4-8 cubic meters (140-280 cubic feet)) oriented anywhere around the unscrambler.

The bulk feed will transfer the containers, several at a time in random fashion to the sorting disc (800-2500mm in diameter according to the model). The centrifugal action of the sorting disc places the containers in single file, from where they are discharged to the top feed belts and turnover disc.
A level switch installed in the sorting disc automatically turns the bulk feed on and off according to the sorting disc load.

From the sorting disc, the containers pass to the sorting wheel where they are oriented according to their neck location. The containers pass to the discharge belts (Neoprene or Urethane) where they are up-righted and released onto the conveyor (conveyor not included).
The unscrambler is self synchronizing with any line, and will start and stop on demand. An operator indictor light will notify the operator of the machine status with more detailed information displayed on the control panel dot matrix display.
